i know the feeling, have had a few bow hunts ruined by dogs in the woods. anymore i just chalk it up as a bad day. i will not shoot them unless they make a move towards me. most of the time they are pets from some local family, not a good way to build up hunting relationships with the neighbors if you shoot their dogs. here in virginia, using dogs to hunt is legal so i try to avoid any problems.
