Well if i were to let a deer hang, for a day or two i would want to get it as cool as possible, so that means skin it!! right?? That fur is hotter than what most people must think, think about it, they have that fur this time of year for a reason and that is to keep the body warm, so skin your deer and wrap it in a game cloth, that should do it.
