Here are several other bucks ALL taken THIS year from various s. Texas ranches. The number of big bucks already taken this year is amazing, and to think our rifle season is still another 3 weeks away. Last year was great and 1997 was awesome, but this year is going to be the best ever.
The almost constant rain this year has just provided an incredible food source. Fawn crop was amazing, survival rate was very high. Antler development is almost unbelievable. It IS a great year for Texas whitetails. Of course, when the next drought starts, the population is sure going to crash...
