Zeiss Conquest scopes are assembled in the United States; the glass is from Europe, using proprietary Zeiss coatings. If you want to patronize American manufacturers, Leupold is a fine choice, with Zeiss also being a decent option.
Customer service from both companies is great.

Doe Dumper, Leupold scopes are still made in the states and they have excellent customer service from what I heard.
