Sorry to bump this after so many days, but wanted to say thank you to everyone who congratulated me. I hope that all of you have such good luck as we did. It isn't all about luck, but seeing this guy was luck for me since we don't see many deer, much less bucks. Season is over for us with two deer in the freezer. We may go out just to try and locate some elk, but it would really have to be a close and absolutely perfect broadside shot for me to consider trying to bring down an elk. Thankful to have meat for the freezer, horns for the wall, and all of you to share my love of hunting with.
