I would still suggest going with a lighter setup even though you are shoooting 82 pounds with a compound. Probably in the 50# area. If you are using it for deer hunting, it will be plenty enough. As far as draw length is concerned, it really depends on how you are anchoring your compound. In most cases, you draw will be around 1-2" less then a compound.

Most off the shelf bows are set at 28" draw. Try pulling a few back, and if they stack on you, you will need to go with a bow with a longer draw, which isn't easy to do, especially if you are not getting one custom made. Sometimes going with a longer bow will also be helpful if stacking is an issue.
