You oughta see the last batch of cedar arrows I made up for my longbow, C! I wanted to stain them orange but wound up having wipe them down with thinned orange acrylic paint. Put a couple of coats of poly over the acrylic. Topped 'em off with 5" shields - orange hens and a red cock feather - with a flo orange nock. Trust me... them suckahs is ORANGE. They sure don't get lost in the grass.[8D]
