There was a time when people waxed their cars by hand instead of having it sprayed on at the automated car wash. They still carry it in the automotive section of Wally World, I guess for the benefit of us old goats.

i wax my truck by hand all the time. i just didn't put together "paste wax" and "car wax." lol, thanks for the tip...
