charlie brown, i hunt several places along creeks like your here in MO. I have found that if the pressure is nil I just place out about 6 t0 12 decoys and sit back and wait for them. Scouting is your best weapon. If you can find holes they use jump shoot them and then throw out some dekes and wait they will be back. I have killed lots of ducks by doing this especially in the winter when everything freezes up except the creeks and rivers.
