You may get mixed opinions on this. Everyone at the pro shop, including myself, suggest a much stiffer setting on the spring tension. However, I know some who are like you and use just enough to hold the arrow up. To tell you the truth, logic would seem to use as little as possible, but I have always had best results with stiffer settings.
