Personally, i think the 200 grain bullet is too light for the 338 on bigger game. I think i'd go with the 250 grain to get the proper penetration that bigger game needs for most shots.
The 30 cal. 200 Nosler Partition will easily out penetrate a 200 grain 338 bullet. I shot them both and saw this my self.
I'd choose the 300 wby 200 grain NP in this case, because of the reasons stated above, and the added velocity at longer ranges will help it to shoot flatter too.
I shot the bull in the picture with my custom .338-06 imp. useing a 250 grain Speer Gran Slam at 150 yards. I wasn't impressed with the way the bullet performed, but i've read the Gran Slams made today are better??
