RE: Tech Question Darton
Basically, if I wanted to totally avoid the bolts with the rollers, I would have to start cranking it with the position of the rollers around the middle of the "t" and the "o" (see picture) in Darton. That would put an aweful lot of pressure on the limbs. The trick to pressing a bow (and optimal and safest) is to get the rollers as close to the cams without touching them in the full position. I have seen quite a few bows ruined with pressing them wrong. In my case I will either have to crank right over the bolts, or remove them. I pressed over the them the other day and didn't seem to have a problem.
