OK, here's my magic load for the .308. It has worked in every rifle I've tried in on so far.

Hornady 168gr BTHP match with 47.5 gr of 4350. It's not a very hot load but it fits my sprigfield bullet drop scope and is very accurate.

If you try it and it doesn't work......don't tell me. I'd hate to loose the magic.
