Martin has been and will probably continue to be an excellent product (I own a Cougar II). I had the chance to fondle a Martin Slayer the other day. Felt solid but the guy wouldn't let me shoot it. While he was shooting it was quiet and his set up allowed a real tight group. We're talking silver dollar groups of three. I was impressed but I've only been with the archery thing for 3 months now.
