Default RE: Sako 75 SS in 7 STW

BC.. Well first one I had 30-06 fiberclass was a very good gun in fact I wish I had it now..reflecting back on it I never handloaded for it and really never really had it scoped right and there were too many other brands calling my name . The second one M-591 308 win should have been a good gun too . The bedding job from the factory was not very good or the first owner hosed it up beyond recognition so I had it rebedded and the gun butcher that did it buried the detachable lug under the compound and left a noticeable gap between magazine box and floorplate. Rather then send it back and wait 3 months for him to repair it I ended up trading it out. Prior to the bedding job it was a good 1 - 1 1/2 inch gun. I have always liked the SS 75 in fact I almost bought one 7 years ago for 750 bucks new but the dealer wouldn't deal with my trade so I walked out. Now they are in the 1000+ range but interestingly I wandered into my local dealer on Saturday and low and behold there is a brand new 75 SS sitting under his gun rack I asked the price and he said 750 bucks. Fastest transaction the man has ever experienced I guarantee it. I didn't even have to look at the gun. Interestingly I bought it for 28 bucks less then what he was selling a new Browing SS Stalker.
