Todd, your argument can and does apply to pretty much any comparism between most magnum cartridges or standard cartridges. I have found the wsm's in general to be the easiest cartridges to reload ..I don't have a lot of time on my hands to devote to finding the last nth of accuracy but the WSM type cartridges sure make it easy, I find them very accurate and pleasant to shoot. The guns are lighter in most cases and that may or may not be a liability in certain types of shooting . If you have a chance read Hornadys latest reloading manual and you'll see how the wsm's stack up against their long mag counterparts . The ask yourself how much excess recoil do I want my body to take or do I want to walk around with a 26" barrel in the woods when a 24" short mag will do the same work.
