RE: Favorite part of turkey hunting
Although I agree with most of you that just being in the turkey woods in general is what its all about, there still is something that sits atop my list of favorites. I have to say that seeing a tom running into your call at half strut and stopping dead in his tracks to go into full strut is about the most exciting and rewarding things i have ever experienced in the woods. Just knowing that I have excited him enough where he feels it necessary to run to my calls rather than take his jolly time is truly awsome. I'm also suprised nobody mentioned the drumming or spitting, two truly magnificent sights and sounds.<font size=5></font id=size5>
