Packing Moose out of the bush in Ontario is always a chore but worth every minute. The last one we shot we had to track for about an Hour and found him beside a small pond. 1100 lbs dressed. We quartered him and were able to get a couple of aluminum boats up to him, portaging 3 beaver dams along the way. Getting in was ok but we had to unload the moose at every dam coming out. He was shot at noon om Monday and we had him back to camp on Tuesday at 2 pm. Once on the Magnetawan River it was smooth sailing! Like they say, the fun stops once you pull the trigger!! Always have a great Hunt!!
