RE: Cluck not putt

Anyhow, the cluck and putt definetly sound very similar. I think a turkey's body language and cadence have as much to do with a putt as apposed to a cluck as anything else. I think a turkey that is walking along feeding slowly with their head down, could make the exact same noise as a spooked turkey running away, and the other turkeys may look up quick but if the turkey that clucked/putted isn't at attention, they'll go right back to feeding. Also, everyone knows that no hens yelp exactly alike, this is true for all calls. Ones cluck may be another's putt. Like I said body language and speed and exitement of the call have as much to do with it as the actual note. That's just my humble opinion.
