Overpriced? Depends on who you ask. This is pretty much my only hobbie. I spend a great deal of time on the range and field every year with my bow and equipment. Is my 700 dollar bow overpriced? Not me me. I get every penny's worth out of it just tinkering and shooting it and the goodies I put on it and try. On the other hand, I could be dumping mega bucks each night at the local watering hole. (does happen once in a while) Especially when my hunting buddies are around.

To each their own. No, I don't need to spend what I do on archery stuff every year, but I do because I simply enjoy what I do.
