The enhancer 2000 (long model) cannot be separated from the long metal extension bar that allows it to be mounted into the tapped stabilizer hole on the riser of any given bow. However, Sims also makes a "short mount" model which does not have the long extension bar. I actually have one at home if you would like to try it.

However, I am curious as to why you want to mount the modular unit between the long extension bar and the "base unit" (for lack of a better term) of the Enhancer 2000....why not just mount the modular extension in the tapped hole on the end of the Enhancer 2000?
