I'm currious cybersniper. Where did you hit your deer and what load were you using? I shot one this year at 60 yards with a Dead Center .357 175 grain using 115 grains 777 ffg, in my TC Omega .45 and put a hole in it you could stick a beer can in. Since it was angling away from me the bullet went in through the rib cage and lodged in the far front shoulder. It was running when I hit it, so it ran another 50 yards or so and dropped. It left a blood trail a blind man could have followed, starting from right where I hit him. I have shot a lot of deer with other bullets and none of them have left this kind of blood.
