For your information Lazzeroni markets a bullet they call a lazzerhead. It is a barnes triple shock bullet built undersized then has a metalic np3 coating electroplated to it which brings it back up to standard diameter. They are very slick. Lazzeroni claims they can be driven as fast as standard lead core bullets while retaining x bullet performance without the bore fouling problems while maintaining accuracy guaranteed by Lazzeroni rifles. I just picked up two boxes for a 300 wby and hope to try them out this weekend. With a b.c. of .428 and at 3540+ fps, I am hoping for the ultimate long range deer load. Now if I can just get them to shoot accurately ..........!
