Depends on the carbon or aluminum. Some of each are heavy or light. With that said, the heaviest aluminum are heavier than the heaviest carbon, but I don't think that is what you are getting at.

There are some carbons that way as much as some aluminums, such as Gold Tip Big Game, Carbon Express terminator, Easton Carbon Evolution, CarbonTech (?) Rhino, etc...

Depends on what you are looking for. Easton ACC Kinetics are a carbon/aluminum composite and heavy to kill two birds with one stone
