Congrats Mr. ncbowhunter. All animals taken with a bow are trophy's in my eyes. From your description you kept it all together and made the shot. This is a tough defeat. I have taken a number of deer with a bow (mostly does) and I still feel the adrenaline while perparing for the shot. When the excitedness and heart pounding stops for me in a tree, I'll probably hang up my bow. Great Job Sir and am glad you are a part of the bowhunting family.
