I just bought a new Ruger stainless composite stock 260 and new 4X leupold scope for 678.00 plus tax. I am betting it will take deer along side any other rig regardless of price..I also bought this fall a new Remington 700 ADL synthetic stocked 257 Roberts with a new Leupold 3X9 for 579.00 plus Tax. Same bet.
I could have spent more but would not have gained anything in the way of a better deer hunting rig.
