There's no picture showing but I completely agree with the thinking on this. The Police or CCW calibers don't seem to have enough oomph to get the job done quickly and safely. I recently went through the same thinking for a backup pistol while field dressing deer (in case a bear or lion wants to argue about a buck down). I'm still trying to find a 41 or 44 caliber pistol that I like for the job but did pick up a Glock 20 (10mm).
