As for a reply, I don't use a Glock 9mm, I don't use a 38spl snubnose, I carry a full size (heavy!) 1911 .45 ACP in a shoulder holster.

What I don't like about the post is that it spends a long time highlighting a particular cartridge, but in the last two lines presents an entirely different factor as the main criteria for a self defense choice.
Someone not reading carefully could end up picking an inappropriate weapon.
