Well your reply was the 450 fires a light JACKETED pistol bullet which is actually does not in this comparison. It surely can. The FTX/SST line include mostly rifle cartridges with only a couple exceptions in 45cal. The 200gr and 225gr FTX are made for pistols but the 200gr is made for 460S&W. The 225gr is made for 45LC. Ive shot pretty much all the 45cal offerings in modern inline MLs and smokeless MLs. Not really a fan of any of them except the 325gr FTX. I have no problem exceeding the ballistics posted but them bullets are pretty fragile at those speeds. Shoot a 250gr XTP and a 240gr XTP MAG into the same media sometime. Massive difference in how the 2 hold together because the MAG is made for 454 Casull and 45LC Ruger/TC type load data.
