So wait… 22-250 brass is “scarce,” but the far less available 224 Valk and equally less available 6.8 SPC brass are more available (which can’t just be necked down as claimed in the article, but rather must be pushed back, necked down, neck reamed or mandreled and turned, and trimmed)… what backwards market analysis supports that? Especially with far better brass available and more common .473” bolt face used for the 22-250…

Throw a 1:7 twist in front of the 22-250 case, which is ~30% larger than the Valkyrie case, and you can push 80’s and 90’s at speeds the little valkyrie can’t fathom, and reach a few hundred yards past the Valk holding supersonic with the 22-250, with better brass life to boot.
