I believe I wrapped up my season with a plumb doe this evening. I would say the best part of this season was taking a nice bear in CO on Oct 18 and the worst part was having a stick go through the sidewall of a new tire on my diesel truck in on Christmas Day while I was coyote hunting. My wife went to NH to spend the holiday with her family so I didn't have any adult supervision. The tire had less than a thousand miles on it but I had the road hazard warranty so it got replaced for free. The reason it was the worst part of the season was when I put the spare on I found the valve stem had gone bad on it and the spare wouldn't hold air. I checked the spare last year but forgot to check it this year. So there I sat, 6 miles from town with 2 bad tires. Had to call AAA for a tow and walked pretty much the whole distance back to town so the tow truck knew where I was.
