Default Learned something today

Yesterday I melted down some previously cast bullets that had bullet lube on them. Good thing is was nice enough to melt them down outside to pour into the ingot mold. Boy did they smoke. I was wondering how to get the lube off before adding to the melting pot so I was watching a video today and the gentleman soaked his lubed bullets in Xylene to remove the lube (it took a bit over an hour). He was going to powder coat them.
Well I got a can of Xylene (Xytol) at my local hardware store and have some more of those bullets soaking in it as we speak. These bullets have a BHN of 12 so I am going to be adding linotype to them to boost the BHN up to about 18 for my 375 win.
Just thought I'd pass this tip along in case you didn't know like me.
