My Sauer 100 Classic XT just arrived!
My wife bought me this rifle for my birthday and have been waiting on it a few weeks. Just arrived today and have to say on first handling very happy with it. Seems like it will be a fast running rifle and the quality is excellent.
I have been out of hunting for quite some time and finally can get back into it. Up north here only big game is Black bear, moose not this far north so will be heading out to try and get one of those, lots of sausages!
One thing I found weird is back when I had my rifles, two which were 30-06 as this one is they always had springfld stamped on the barrel with 30-06. This one is just straight up 30-06, nothing else. Things have changed some I guess nomenclature for this has changed over the years?
