Chicory and plantain/clover mix
Hi guys we use plantain/clover mix & chicory crop to feed wean lambs from early spring October till March autumn, everything from turkeys, ducks, geese, and red deer love chicory too. Chicory will flower & turn woody but we mow/top our paddocks to keep it growing green, lambs put on about 2kg+ pre week which is ok we sell around 5000 lambs over our summer season and we buy in lambs.
