Default My 2020 Archery big game Season.

As far as hunting, I've had a fun and successful year. I've hunted both fall black bear and whitetail. All animals were taken with Scorpyd Aculeus 460 with Killer Instinct Lumix Speedring optic. Shooting a 125gr NAP spitfire on a 400gr bolt.

Fall Black Bear
After hunting a week in August , not a single bear from what was a previously successful spot.
However a spot we previously hunted yielded great promise.
First a small 100lb sow, taken on the last day of our hunt.

A couple weeks later, a small 110lb boar. Freezer has some tender fatty roasts in it by now.

Our target bear of six years also showed up for the first time in daylight (20 minutes before we showed up....), we've named him "Walter". He's eluded us every year.
