CWD has definitely impacted numbers. My cousin who has been tagging out for years including red tagging for farms stopped this year due to being in a CWD area and being worried about it. If he stopped-others did as well.
I hate to complain about additional hunting opportunities. But I personally liked the Monday opener, no Sunday hunting, and I liked a separate doe season.
But the additional opportunities are good for the sport.
I'll still only doe hunt the last weekend like I've been doing for years. I like to hunt Thurs, Fri and Sat of the second week for my doe tags. I'll keep doing that.
