I may have to apply for an antlerless permit this year. I have land in west central PA where I live and hunt. I went for a stroll around part of my property a couple of weeks ago and within one half hour counted over 30 deer and this was with about one week still remaining in the late flintlock and archery season. I am also within the boundaries of DMA 3. Hunter numbers appear to be down considerably in my area. I attribute at least some of that to all the uncertainties and fears regarding CWD.
