No deer breeder is buying yearling spikes, forks, etc... when you can have 8pt yearlings...
if all you're seeing is spikes though, I wouldn't take out all the spikes on the property.
I'd try to let your bigger deer breed as much as possible...ie. don't take out that decent 2.5yo 8pt when he comes along...but good luck,
if you want some meet, I'd consider taking out the smallest spike you can if given a choice, or just taking one of the spikes...
I'd let that 6pt breed and pass on him...
