Default Swap Quetico Fishing for Western Backpack Bowhunt

I will personally outfit and guide 1-4 people into Quetico wilderness area in June of 2020, 8 days.

You must be in good physical shape for this trip, it is likely we will paddle and portage 12-20 miles on day one, 40-70 miles of travel on the trip is typical. It’s flexible depending on your focus and what the fish are doing. I will put you on the fish, Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, N Pike, and Lake Trout. Non-fishing trips are fine as well, but I will be fishing.

You must be able to carry 60-100 pounds through rocky terrain.

I am a minimalist, we will not take items we do not need. This is a no trace wilderness area to be respected. I will provide transportation from one of several airports to our entry point. I will do all of the permit process, provide canoes, all gear, and the food. You will need your clothes and may prefer your own fishing rig.

You must pay your permit, camping and fishing license fees, but I’ll handle all the paperwork. I am 45 and have been wilderness canoe camping since I was 13. I’m as close to a professional guide as you will get, but everyone will work around camp.

What I am looking for is the same treatment for 1-2 people in fall 2020. I’m an avid Mid-West bow hunter. I have no experience in western hunting. I’d love a backpack hunt for Elk, Mule deer, whatever you are an expert in... I’ll bring my bow.
