I am pretty new at muzzleloading and I have a few questions based on what I have read on this forum. What is everyones preferred bullet weight? I have read alot of you say 295 gr. or higher and I just wondered why with all of the 200 gr. and 250 gr. bullets. Wouldn't they shoot flatter and more accurate? Also what is the preferred powder load. Again it seems like alot of you shoot around 100 gr. but the guns will hold 150 gr. what is the reasons for this? Would like some input before I go purchase a bunch of bullets or powder. Is there anywhere to get ballistic numbers on powerbelts or shockwaves with different amounts of powder loads?
