Ditto! I used Evapo Rust and it worked great! Just don't get it on the outside as it will removing the bluing on the outside of the bore. Like they said above the bore may be pitted, but it may still shoot great??? It's worth the cost of Evapo Rust to try first, and take it to the range to find out. Just follow normal cleaning and oiling procedures there after.
