Decided to try something new for the 2018 muzzleloader season. I've been eyeing the CVA pistol for a while and finally decided to pull trigger and order one as a birthday present for myself. Everything arrived at my door this Thursday, so I spent this morning out in the shop giving the pistol a good cleaning and getting the scope mounted. I ended up mounting a simple Nikon 2x20 for now. There are several areas of dense cedar thickets that I hunt where i believe this setup is going to be ideal. I've already found some good information on different loads that folks are shooting with these pistols but was wondering if anyone on here has a similar setup and what have you found that shoots well.
