About 30 mins into good shooting light, this fella comes strolling down the hillside towards the oak flat. For Mid TN, a nice solid 8 point...16 inch inside spread....148 pounds field dressed. Shot was 40 yards, slightly quartering towards me using a CVA optima V2, 100 gr bh209, 250 Barnes TEZ. Hit him right at the base of the neck and exited just back of the far side shoulder. Anchored him right there. All in all, a great morning back in the woods.
