If I were to use all new lumber to build this blind this morning this is a ruff cost. All wood on line priced at Lowe's.com. Spring is the start of building season and is not the best time to buy lumber.

Also if you go into the stores you can many times get new lumber but has maybe a splintered edge at a very good discount, I have gotten 8 foot 2"x4"'s for 50 cents each in the fall and winter.

I did not use shingles on this blind but figure one bundle with some left over. I use roofing metal, free from a pole barn building friend and they sandwich the good Barn metal between these short sheets where the banding goes. The home owners doesn't want them so my friend gives me some for the asking.

You can cheapen the cost also, by not doing skids, also the up rights can be land scapeing 8' timbers instead of 4"x4"x8' treated.

2@ 4”x4”x10’ treated skids $26.14

4@ 4”x4”x8’ treated post $33.08 Up rights at corners

4@ 2”x6”x8’ $19.24 Flooring attachment frame

9@ 2”x8”x8’ Floor & porch $74.61 floor is 5'x5', Leaves 3' pieces to do the porch

6@ 2”x4”x8’ $19.68 Ripped into 2"x2" makes modular frame for walls and roof

1@ 1”X6”x8’ $4.74 Makes window frames

7@ ½” OSB $85.05 Walls and roof

1@ bundle shingles $23.50 roof coverin

25@ 3/8x3” lag bolts $11.39 Fastnal, TSC sells by the pound but their web site sucks. Holds modular sections together.

1LB @ Wood screws #10 3.125” $12.18 Fastens floor and modular frame together.

OOPS Fence and Deck stain @ home depot/Lowe’s $5.00 gallon Protects OSB from weather some.

Window glass curb side pick up. Cut to fit window frames if need be.

Carpet curb side pick up. Cut to fit floor.
