Our first day here in Missouri was Monday, but due to work, I didn't make it out until Tuesday. I set up on my food plot on my farm at the bottom of my big ridge when this guy sounded off on the roost in the valley behind the ridge.. Wasn't long and he was on top of the ridge closing the distance. I could hear him spitting and drumming all they way down the ridge to the food plot. Thundering back everytime I hit my call. He took his last breath at 6:30. He just loved this 3 in copper call I made from Spaulted maple, I harvested not more than 100 yards from where he layed. One of my top 5 birds at 23 1/2 lbs, 11 in beard, and 1 1/8 spurs. Sorry for the blurry pic, but I was still shaking when I took it. Man I love turkey hunting!
