Lose a Lure lately
Well its been over ten years since I bought a fishing lure. I got a good supply 20 years ago. Have to take a new inventory. That inventory should save me some money.
Of course, the cost of rapalas today stunned me Nine and ten dollars apiece.
Then I thought of a part-time tournament fisherman I knew.
Remember the over the road truck driver, who saved him some money.
THE GOLF BALL RETRIEVER
The over the road trucker came into the fishing department looking for a fishing hook retriever. When informed there were none in the fishing dept., he noted he had been to many a fishing store in the south and could never find one. He then described one and I recalled seeing one. It wasm't used by fishermen. It was used by golfers. I led to the next door golf center.
Before we got to them, he yelled out. "That's them". Bought two and was off.
So in 2017 you hook a ten dollar rapala on an unwater object, be sure to have a golf ball retriever handy. You might save some money.
