Yes, the monoflex i tested were 452. They are called muzzleloader bullets, by Hornady. The 458, are called rifle bullets. Wouldn't know if they work differently or not.
Well, maybe shooting 0.452 SST would be dirty work. Maybe not, well maybe.
My bullet choice for next season has to be the 300g 45 caliber XTP i guess. Boring choice, but it put a gut shot deer down right now, this season. Dumb me thought it was dead, and walked right up to it; so it ran off, but didn't go far, and lay down again, giving me another chance for the kill.

When I used pistol bullets I preferred the 250grn XTP over the 300grn XTP. But back then I mostly shot two pellets I believe???
