first thing to do is completely disassemble the bolt and clean it, clean bolt lugs, receiver lugs. most probably oil and grime binding the bolt up. all I heard about snap caps is you need them on rimfires and O/U and SxS shotguns due to the angled firing pins, semis have a floating pin that dry firing doesn't harm them.
