While waiting for this year's Utah draw results, I searched YouTube Pausagunt mule deer hunts and came up with a slew from Mossback. It appears they and their auction/LO tag buyers own the unit. With 19 points, I have a chance for the one and only nonresident archery preference tag there. But watching these videos make me regret I didn't just burn my points back when the Book Cliffs was a good option. It's quite obvious to me I won't fit in with the bounty hunters and big money mentality that prevails there. Reminds me of my experience with AZ's Kaibab a few years back, and they don't have anywhere near the auction/LO corruption. Still had pressure from guides to leave the area.


Just another reason to shift gears toward mid tier units.
