I have a few 15' ladder stands that stay out the entire season.They are fine for sitting for short periods of time.After a few hours they get uncomfortable.If you plan on all day hunts I would suggest a comfortable climber.I shot several deer off these ladders but they can' t compare to a nice climber.If you get a ladder stand don' t get one of the narrow stands available.One that comes to mind was a aluminum stand I believe was called the Ocala Stand.Those are hard to climb and turn around on.Most of the ladder stands today are wide enough for easy climbing and turning around to sit on it.BassPro has some good ladders at fairly reasonable prices. Especially right before hunting season.
